Key Responsibilities
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for 4G and 5G RAN architectures to support the business in this area Support the design and build of the 4G/5G RAN network blueprints by creating the design and documentation of the RAN solution to address the customer’s requirements Ensure the designs meet the quality, robustness and scalability demanded by top tier Telecoms Service
Skills & Experience Required
- 5+ or more years’ recent experience in a responsible role relevant to radio access network design and architectures
- Knowledge and experience of product integration with a proven track history of success Solid understanding of Networking Protocols like IP, TCP, SCTP, IPSEC End-to-end RAN architecture knowledge (2G, 4G, 5G)
- Knowledge of OpenRAN protocols between RU, DU and CU would be beneficial
- Familiarity with RAN Technologies (vRAN, MIMO, Small Cells, Timing and Sync with GPS, PTP)
- Familiarity with VNF/CNF virtualisation platforms and technology would be a key advantage Strong communication skills (written and verbally) and the ability to effectively explain complex details to others is essential
- Ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new technologies and concepts
