We are seeking a Senior Automation and Manual Tester to join a leading financial services firm, working at the intersection of technology and finance. This role requires a deep understanding of testing in regulated environments and experience dealing with third-party integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing Leadership: Lead testing efforts for complex wealth management applications, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Automation Expertise: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools.
- Manual Testing: Execute detailed manual testing for areas that require a hands-on approach, particularly in user experience and critical functionality.
- Third-Party Integrations: Test and validate integrations with third-party systems, ensuring seamless and secure data exchange.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, product managers, and third-party vendors to understand requirements and ensure quality from inception to delivery.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all testing meets financial regulatory requirements and adheres to stringent security standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive the improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on both automation and manual testing within the financial services sector.
- Wealth Management Expertise: Proven experience in the Wealth Management sector, with a solid understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements.
- Automation Skills: Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks, along with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Manual Testing Acumen: Extensive experience in manual testing, with a focus on functional, UI/UX, and integration testing.
- Third-Party Integration: Demonstrated ability to test and validate complex third-party integrations, ensuring reliability and security.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving attitude.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working in agile environments and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
