Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

– Coach and support the teams in agile test automation

– Review and analyse requirements and (technical) system specifications

– Collaborate with developers to develop effective test strategies and plans

– Assist with the creation of test scenarios

– Evaluate product code according to specifications

– Create logs to document testing phases and defects

– Develop advanced reporting solutions/dashboards to better communicate the quality (coverage) of our test effort

– Help troubleshoot issues

– Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the agile development lifecycle

– Assist the QA Community with ongoing development of the Automated Test Framework

– Assist the QA Community with ongoing improvements to QA processes

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role

– Experience in project management and QA methodologies

– Experience of working in an Agile environment

– Working knowledge of Behaviour-driven Development (BDD)

– Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

– Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence a plus

– Ability to write automation scripts in TS (TypeScript)

– Good experience of API testing

– Working knowledge of Selenium

– Working knowledge of Webdriver.IO

– Experience setting up and developing the CI/CD pipeline (Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git)

– Experience of mobile device testing (iOS and Android)

– Excellent communication skills

– Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

– BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field preferred
