Salt are currently partnered with a leading Global IT Services Consultancy as they seek multiple Digital Application Architects to join their team in Germany, bringing different levels of experience.

Individuals joining this team would become part of the Application Services practice, dedicated to pre-sales, advisory, consulting and project engagements. They are continuously expanding their capabilities for the development and modernization of Non-SAP applications to support their customers through their digital journey with the right technologies.

These roles would be predominantly supporting the businesses Telecommunications customers.

Responsibilities

• Design custom solutions for Tier-1 Telecoms Operators and provide guidance on these solutions, including use of software products on both a technical and business level.
• Provide technical leadership to the project team on the integration of new software products through the whole software life-cycle, from the first design to production launch and continued maintenance and enhancement.
• Define and implement architectural governance.
• Asses technology and business impact of different technologies and strategies.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Engineering, Information Technology etc.
• Business fluency in German & English
• Prior experience in Telecommunications, either from working in a Telco or from supporting Telco customers in a consulting capacity.
• Expertise in following areas:
• Application Architecture & implementation
• Agile project delivery (Scrum, DevOps, SAFe)
• Consulting
• Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google)
• Programming languages (Java, Spring, Node.ks, .Net, Python)
• Database query languages (SQL, JPA, Hibernate)
• Ability to lead the technical teams of application projects
• Familiar driving both technical and business conversations, with confidence presenting up to CIO/CEO level.
• Flexible to work on-site with customers up to 4 days per week (within DACH region)

Location: Flexible in Germany – preference for Cologne/Dusseldorf or Frankfurt areas
Salary: €75K – €115K fixed + car, benefits – dependent on experience, multiple roles
