Develop the E Commerce business and to establish it as one of the most credible online trading sites in the Region. Responsible for establishing and managing all elements of the online marketing mix, budgets and for maximising efficiency of online marketing spend. Driving maximum possible traffic with a high propensity to purchase at the minimum cost. Utilising SEO, SEM, PPC, Affiliate marketing and elements of the online marketing mix to increase overall sales, conversion and margin.
Job Description
- Own and manage the P&L for the e-commerce business maintaining good corporate
- Create and deliver a best in class whole of business model that captures all aspects of e commerce including ranging, on line & deliver customer experience, pricing, marketing, purchasing, fraud and logistics
- Define plan of attack to install initial changes in interface design, metrics and conversion maximisation
- Define the ecommerce road map inclusive of information architecture, user experience/navigation, site search, web analytic, site features and functionality and transaction processing
- Manage business requirements development in partnership with Information Technology department to drive development initiatives that support the ecommerce road map
- Ensure the day-to-day operational reliability including site up-time, functionality up-time, transaction processing functionality and product presentation in partnership with Group network operations, web development and database teams
