We are seeking a Business Development Manager to help us drive new partnerships for this media relationship management tool. On offer is an opportunity to join a thriving tech startup, that is transforming the way we look at media outreach. Having already built a strong presence in the region, this role will be the first hire in KSA, expanding their services to the Saudi market.
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, self-motivated Business Development Manager who is comfortable covering the technical side of partnerships, can negotiate financial terms, and has the ability to close a deal. They will have experience or knowledge of social selling and are comfortable meeting (and exceeding) KPIs/targets.
The ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with strategic customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote the company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.
Responsibilities for this Business Development Manager Opportunity:
- Building a strong product and market understanding in order to identify new business opportunities and grow your portfolio of clients.
- Build strategic relationships with key decision-makers within the market sectors assigned to you.
- Build out a pipeline of prospective partners and actively pursue opportunities to promote and sell the platform.
- Handle all renewal contracts for existing clients.
- Converting leads into calls and direct face-to-face pitches with prospective clients.
- Evangelize the company’s offering and communicate the benefits of their solution.
- Tracks emerging markets and trends.
- Proposes and develops strategic partnerships.
You’ll have the following skills & experience
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- A strong business developer and networker, building relationships from scratch is what you will live and breathe for
- A strong background in selling solutions and services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. (Arabic & English).
- Strong sense of initiative and customer service orientation.
- Solution and outcome-oriented
- Proactively identifies and qualifies issues as opportunities
- Able to provide clear direction and priorities, taking the lead to resolve problems
- Commercially savvy
