Security Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Consultant to join our clients team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in security operations centers (SOC) and cloud security. As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance, conducting security assessments, and implementing robust security measures to protect our clients’ systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct security assessments and audits of client systems and networks.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Monitor and analyze security incidents and threats within client environments.
• Provide SOC support, including incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management.
• Design and implement cloud security solutions, ensuring the protection of client data and systems in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of security assessments, incidents, and solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on best security practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a security operations center (SOC) role.
• Strong experience with cloud security, including knowledge of major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), and endpoint protection.
• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and mitigation strategies.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
