Data Governance Director

Overview:

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of data governance principals, policies, and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the operational data governance policies in development of data management initiatives by supervising the Data Steward(s)
• Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology leadership teams to ensure that data related business requirements are in place
• Align with external compliance authorities to design the content of the data governance structures, and update the latest data governance rules

Qualifications:

• 5-8+ years of relevant experience within data governance
• 3+ years of leading roles in similar position
• Domain knowledge of critical data sets, priority use cases, and understanding of business processes
• Knowledge of how to define and implement data procedures and policies
• Knowledge of data management principles and concepts
• Knowledge and expertise in industry leading data management practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or any similar field or equivalent work experience accepted
