Mobile Engineer

Salt is hiring Mobile Engineer for our technology client on a 3-month assignment (which is extendable). You will work closely with our product team in building features and applications to directly benefit the product’s growth. We have a ton of interesting problems to solve. Job Scope :

• Build and maintain high-quality mobile apps for both Android and iOS platforms using React Native.
• Make sure the codebase is clean, maintainable, and following best practices, including performance optimization, code reviews, and consistent coding standards.
• Transform UI/UX designs into well-functioning, responsive user interfaces, focusing on usability and aesthetics.
• Integrate with various RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and web services to provide a seamless and reliable user experience on both platforms.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and memory usage issues to ensure smooth app performance on Android and iOS.
• Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and actively participate in the QA processes to deliver bug-free applications.
• Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to track code changes and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation to assist team members and stakeholders.

Requirements :

• Professional experience in mobile app development with a strong focus on React Native for Android and iOS.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, ECMA standards, and React concepts.
• Basic understanding of React Native new architecture.
• Experience with state management using Redux or MobX or similar libraries.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration (Payments, IoT devices, Authentication) techniques.
• Idea about continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Familiarity with Android and iOS build and deployment processes.
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in native app development using Kotlin & Swift is an added advantage.
• At least 4+ years of relevant work experience
