Head of Organic Growth Marketing

Salt is partnering with a leading global provider of high-quality media helping inspire creative professionals by providing diverse content to businesses.

This company is looking to bring on a Head of Organic Growth Marketing to implement a comprehensive organic growth strategy and program.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic organic search marketing plans to exceed customer acquisition goals
• Partner with the Performance Marketing team to optimize overall marketing ROI and conversion
• Partner with the Product and Technical teams on content creation decisions
• Regularly present industry insights, competitor activity, market trends and best practices to educate and influence
• Conduct SEO audits, and make recommendations for improvements and optimizations
• Drive our backlink strategies and growth
• Track traffic, and conversion metrics, and deliver clear reporting to Executive management and key stakeholders regularly
• Be accountable for organic search customer acquisition goals and organic search strategy

Experience and Skills:

• 7+ years of experience leading organic growth or SEO, within a tech, marketplace, or e-commerce company
• Experience integrating organic channels and teams
• Track industry insights, competitor activity, and implement best practices
• Demonstrated SEO growth accomplishments
• An understanding of Information Architecture and Conversion Rate Optimization
• Excellent analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate data into action
• Experience working with Google Analytics, Excel, and third party SEO platforms
• Experience in web development
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent project management skills
