Events Manager

Job Summary:

My client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Events & Campaigns Manager to oversee the strategic implementation of their event calendar. This role involves conceptualising, negotiating, and initiating events and campaigns, securing sponsorships and partnerships, and ensuring seamless execution in collaboration with various stakeholders. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional event experiences while supporting the broader marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the strategic events calendar, aligning with company goals.
• Conceptualise and negotiate event ideas, securing sponsorships and partnerships to maximise value.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners, and suppliers.
• Book and coordinate advertising and media to promote events effectively.
• Liaise with event companies, vendors, and suppliers to ensure all requirements are met.
• Review event proposals and screen event-related inquiries to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Lead and manage the event team and crew, ensuring smooth execution of all activities.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to provide support and integrate event strategies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in events management, preferably within the retail or shopping centre industry.
• Proven track record in securing sponsorships and partnerships.
• Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
