Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SAP Finance Project Manager to lead and drive the successful implementation of SAP Finance solutions within our organization. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in project management, coupled with deep expertise in SAP Finance (SAP FICO) processes. As the SAP Finance Project Manager, you will play a critical role in aligning business needs with technology solutions, ensuring seamless project execution, and contributing to the achievement of our strategic financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end project management for SAP Finance initiatives, from initiation to closure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

SAP Finance Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of SAP Finance (SAP FICO) modules to provide strategic guidance, evaluate business requirements, and translate them into effective system solutions. Drive process improvements and optimize SAP Finance functionalities.

Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including finance leaders, business users, and IT teams, to foster alignment, gather requirements, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to project scope, timeline, and budget. Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies, ensuring project success and minimizing disruptions.

Change Management: Oversee change management activities, ensuring effective communication and training plans are in place to support end-user adoption of SAP Finance solutions.

Quality Assurance: Establish quality control processes to monitor project progress, performance, and deliverables. Conduct regular project assessments to ensure adherence to established standards and best practices.

Vendor and Resource Management: Coordinate with external vendors and internal resources to ensure the timely delivery of project milestones. Manage resource allocation and optimize team performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong track record of successfully leading SAP Finance projects.
• In-depth expertise in SAP Finance (SAP FICO) modules, configuration, and integration.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a results-oriented mindset.
• Change management experience, with the ability to drive end-user adoption and manage organizational change.
• Proficiency in risk management, scope management, and project planning.
• Familiarity with financial processes and principles.
• Experience working in a global or multi-location environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing demands.
