Training Coordinator

Location: Melbourne Type: 6 Month temp contract

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for learning and development? Are you experienced in training coordination and LMS administration? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Training Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities: As a Training Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management and delivery of training programs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Learning Management System (LMS): Creating and maintaining accurate and current learning data in the LMS, including individual learner data, scheduling training, and developing learning paths and courses in SuccessFactors.
  • Training Records: Coordinating and maintaining accurate training records, cleansing, and validating existing records.
  • User Support: Providing LMS training, coaching, and support for various user groups, including Site Trainers, project trainers, and compliance staff.
  • Course Management: Creating and maintaining learning paths and courses in the LMS to facilitate efficient training delivery.
  • Scheduling: Scheduling, coordinating, and booking training sessions, even for external participants.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support our learning and development strategy.
  • Communication: Managing project learning email and Teams correspondence, ensuring timely responses.
  • Reporting: Providing accurate information for reports related to training activities.
  • Change Initiatives: Assisting the Change and Communications team with the implementation of change, communications, and learning initiatives as needed.
  • Logistics: Managing arrangements and logistics for training, including bookings, training materials, accommodation, and invoices.
  • Content Management: Optionally, publishing and testing online learning content on LMS and SharePoint.
  • Learning Collateral: Optionally, assisting with the development of learning collateral as required.

Knowledge/Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Experience in training coordination and LMS administration in a blue-collar, safety, and compliance environment.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or similar, or over 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience administering an LMS, preferably SuccessFactors, and related online tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Initiative-taking attitude, team player, and a willingness to learn from others.
  • PC Literacy with intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Key Competencies: Successful candidates will demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with using an LMS.
  • Qualification in training and assessment and/or over five years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work effectively within deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.

Experience: Your experience should align with the following:

  • A strong commitment to safety and adherence to company behaviours.
  • Prior experience in a Training Coordinator role or a similar position.
  • Experience in large construction, supply chain, or logistics programs or projects is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, communication, organisation, teamwork, and coordination skills.
  • A track record of delivering high-quality work within established time lines.
