THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Business Analyst to spearhead our business analysis efforts in Melbourne. This role involves leading a dedicated team of Business Analysts and serving as a key information source within the organization, particularly in understanding client operations and the broader Australian energy industry.

• Guide and mentor a team of Business Analysts, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Act as the go-to expert within the company regarding client operations and the intricacies of the Australian energy sector.
• Facilitate workshops that merge the visions of our product and engineering teams with the needs and insights of our clients.
• Skilfully elicit, analyse, and document client requirements for our SaaS platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.
• Focus on detailed process mapping, identifying, and documenting specific process elements and customer journeys that are unique to our clients or the Australian energy sector, including how these interact with our platform.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• MUST HAVE: Experience working in the energy industry.
• Extensive experience in business analysis, preferably within the energy sector or a related industry.
• MUST HAVE: A proven track record of leading and managing teams.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in process design and improvement.
• Adept at defining and shaping requirements across multiple product teams.
• Skilled at translating business needs into technical requirements enabling engineering teams to develop solutions iteratively.
• Excellent facilitation skills for conducting workshops and collaborative sessions.
• Deep understanding of the SaaS business model and digital transformation processes.
• Great at data analysis yielding insight to inform strategic decision making.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
