Senior C# Developer

Salt is excited to partner with one of the Big 4 Banks in Australia that is looking for a Senior C# Developer to join cutting-edge front office Quantitative Product team.
In this role you will design, build, and support core infrastructure that is utilised globally by the bank across Trading, Sales and Structuring activities.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, tune and implement C# .Net Core web-based applications
- Previous experience working with AWS cloud platform
- Collaborate with other Quantitative and Cloud Infrastructure teams to design, develop, test and maintain the various platforms and their integration with other systems.
- Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and prepare documentation outlining platform road map.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing systems.
- Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product/project support.
- Design and develop core services and components with expertise in service-oriented architecture.
- Design patterns and coding best practices for the team
Technical Qualifications:
- Senior Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex systems.
- Must have architected systems which involves API and message broker integrations.
- Excellent understanding of SOA principles and design patterns
- Excellent understanding of system integration. Great track record of implementing the distributed and disconnected systems with legacy and modern technical tools.
- Excellent knowledge in about messaging technologies and patterns
- Excellent knowledge in caching and exception handling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Capable of effectively planning, prioritising and executing tasks utilising resources and tools
- Experience working with C#.NET/.Net Core
- Experience working with Web.API
- Good to have Trading Knowledge
- Extensive working experience with SQL server databases.
