Your role:

As a Technical Co-ordination Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Anticipate Engineering Tasks, and ensuring all requirements are met.
• Drive projects keep a team executing towards the completion of a project.
• Free up the technical teams from administrative tasks keeping them focused on the technical issues.
• Work closely with Engineers identifying data and functional requirements in the design of new/enhanced systems.
• Scoping projects, identifying problems, writing a spec, documenting dependencies and costs etc.
• Manage numerous complex projects simultaneously.
• Maintain a big picture view of the project’s goals while performing detail analysis tasks.
• Proactively anticipate project deviations and be responsible for taking immediate corrective action.
• Manage cross-dependencies with other related projects taking place at the same time.
• Work with functional analysts and technical team to vet the requirements, draw up project plans and manage timeline’s and milestone deliverable’s.

Skills and Experience:

The successful applicant will be a Technical Co-ordination Manager who has experience in:

• Understanding of Managed Services and Managed Environments
• Understanding of Data Centres and Co-location Environments
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Results-focused, collaborative, and confident under pressure
• Knowledge of modern application stacks is a plus i.e. Microsoft stack, Oracle, SAP.
• Business continuity design experience, understanding of RPO/RTO.
• Exposure to commercial aspects of hosting industry.
• Experience in a technical role within an IT Infrastructure discipline as a system engineer, network engineer, storage engineer, or database engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or other related technical certifications is desirable
• Relevant Project Management Certification including PMP / PRINCE II, PMBok is desirable.
