We are looking for an experienced Manager/Head of IT Support/Service Delivery to join a disruptive tech company who are revolutionising connectivity for intelligent devices and improving commerce through a unique cloud-based service/API.
The successful Head of IT Support/Service Delivery will have experience working in a start-up environment and building a team around 1st line support functions. They will have strong technical knowledge around IOT and telecommunications and whilst coming from a technical background themselves, will not be afraid to be “hands-on” with tasks and projects.
With the current business service being readily available across 150+ countries, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the prestigious Berlin office at this stage of growth for the company and build a support team based on your experience and network.
Key Responsibilities:
– Knowledge of telecommunications, SaaS (b2b) and/or IOT
– 1st line support management and team lead
– Best practice for handling and organising ticket inquiries (Zendesk or equivalent)
– Strong background in virtualization, VMware, AWS, OpenStack, Linux
– Strong background in Networks, VPN gateways, Firewalls
– Work closely with other departments including sales and marketing
– Experience building and managing a 1st line IT Support team
