A leading UK retailer are looking for a Senior Insight Manager to join their newly created team of 6, in the Centre of London! The retailer has some impressive growth plans on all things digital and customer insight lead communications over the next 5 years, and you will play a leading role in this change.

The main purpose of the role will be to Influence decision makers/ senior stakeholders across the business to use data and insight in their decisions, and most importantly act as a customer champion by ensuring priorities are set and the full use of customer data is available to use.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure a strong partnership between customer insight and wider teams
• Ensure that the customer is put at the heart of decision making
• Support the ‘test and learn’ strategies to be evaluated by Customer Insight on behalf of the BU
• Provide a roadmap to prioritise and deliver growth across different markets and target customer segments
• Proactively advise and make recommendations to the direction of the business through the use of different data sources
• Translate complex research and analysis requirements so insight is maximised and actioned to drive sales across the BU
• Be a permanent voice and champion of the customer and facilitate this across the leadership team
• Sit in on broader marketing and digital meetings to ensure the customer voice is always present

Experience

• Ideally educated to degree level in relevant subject
• Strong Customer Insight/ Analytics/ Research background
• Ideally exposure to FMCG/ Retail products
• Strong stakeholder manager with the ability to influence
• Previous experience of driving customer insight change through multiple business units
