Account Director – Travel & Transport

I am currently partnered with a global leader in consulting, technology services, and digital transformation who are seeking an accomplished sales professional to contribute to their impressive success in the Travel and Transportation sector.

Your role will be to manage a portfolio of accounts and explore new opportunities for growth. Key objectives include building client trust, devising account strategies, driving sales, and overseeing the operations and performance of the account P&L.

You will play a crucial role in supporting the wider go-to-market strategy and enhancing competitive differentiation to achieve growth plans. A clear ambition to be recognized as a high-performer and future leader in the business is expected.

The ideal candidate will be able to pull together proper strategic solution with technology as a key enabler, deliver of the strategic vision, and have an understanding/previous experience in the Travel and Transportation market. Key attributes include:

• Strong sales experience, exposure to sizable deals, and complex programmes.
• A proven track record of building relationships with senior client stakeholders
• Industry insights on the role of digital, strategic advisory partners, and potential to exploit next-generation digital solutions
• Experience in managing sales targets, disciplined account forecasting, and performance reporting
• Capacity to operate independently and collaboratively within a team
• Expertise in opportunity qualification, bid management disciplines, controls, and winning sales plans
• Knowledge of the digital industry, key players, points of differentiation, offers, and broad capabilities.
