Salary: GBP 40,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Our client are looking to recruit a Junior Business Analyst to come and join their team of Business Analysts in the London office which is located in close proximity to amazing views. They offer exciting work opportunities and are a in a multi-year transition phase, moving from waterfall to agile, as well as undergoing modernisation of their systems.

This division is responsible for delivering reliable IT solutions that improve or support existing applications, serving both internal and external clients; deploying changes to production environments in a controlled manner that doesn’t compromise production stability.

As a business analyst you will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to help facilitate change and introduce enhancements to the systems. You will use appropriate business analysis techniques to elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements that will enable appropriate solutions to be assessed and developed.

Additional responsibilities may include carrying out impact assessments, testing, writing external documentation and knowledge sharing.

Desired Skills and Expertise:

• Strong Communications – both written and oral
• Some experience in Business Analysis (e.g. Use Cases, User Stories, Process Modelling)
• Knowledge of Financial Services / Banking
• Basic understanding of IT systems (e.g. Database, Servers, Applications, SWIFT)
• Logical/Analytical thought process
