Management Consultant Operational Improvement, Healthcare

Our client is an independent management and technology consultancy with a global consulting network of more than 10,000 people delivering projects in over 75 locations. They are currently looking for an operational improvement consultant to join their expanding Healthcare practice who will provide expert advice to their UK and international clients on how to transform their processes in urgent / emergency care.

Main responsibilities:

  • As a subject matter expert in Healthcare operational improvement propose innovative solutions and new patient-centred approach to a broad range of processes.
  • Review, analyse and redesign processes using digital technologies and data.
  • Deliver and implement performance improvement initiatives bringing a significant impact on capacity increase, service quality enhancement and positive patient experience.
  • Take an active part in business development, knowledge sharing and collaboration across different offices across the globe in order to strengthen the position on the market and promote the firm’s capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of the team’s technical skills by delivering long-term value and establishing a high-performance culture.

Required skills and experience:

  • Management Consulting experience combined with the in-depth knowledge of public healthcare sector, its challenges and the areas requiring improvement.
  • Hands-on experience of implementing complex transformation initiatives in healthcare sector, in particular NHS, with an impact on processes and systems.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills combined with an ability to coordinate work of large multi-disciplinary teams, prioritise tasks and deliver a high-quality results in line with the project deadlines.
  • Perfect communication, presentation and facilitation skills, as well as an ability to build long-term relationship and effectively influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a passion for improving healthcare systems for patients.
