Are you currently freeing in the next few days?
Fancy working with one the UK’s biggest retailers for 6 months starting now? Working 5 days a week on a hybrid set up with 1 to 2 days a week in-house then the rest if the days remote.
Still sounding good? Then let’s divulge to the good stuff…
This client is looking for a freelance Product Manager who has solid domain architecture experience within the retail/ eComm space, solid technical understanding, and experience with things like high transaction platforms.
They are moving towards a domain driven design (relative domain that will own end to end tech stacks) looking at areas such as e.g., services, and data sets within that. They have multiple teams looking after that, so you will have to interact with those multiple teams.
They are doing lots of this to break down the monopolists and services so they can have autonomous teams. They are at the start of the project which is always the best bit!
Relatively back end focused, they have teams that get consumed by their front end. They treat their stores very differently how they treat their web. They need distinguished Freelance Product Manager to translate the information into easy-to-understand terms to pass over to the teams.
They are not looking for a Developer or Engineer in case you are wondering. They are looking for a Product Manager with the ability to talk to and understand the Direction of travel and how they would work to break down and work towards this new domain structure. They need someone who is not shy of Technology. They have technical leads and distinguished Architects to take care of the technical, but they need you to understand customer value, and priories that.
If you have come this far, then drop me a note and let’s see how we can help you : )
