Design Lead – Social Media / Stealth Start Up – Up to £100k

My client are not your traditional betting app. In fact, they are not fans of the traditional betting experience and the stigma that comes with it. They provide sports fans with the opportunity to challenge each other in an entertaining and new way. You can now bet against your mates on sporting events while keeping the stakes low and banter high. They prioritise above all else the user experience and bringing a first-class product to an outdated industry.

As the lead designer, you will have a leading role in the designing and improving the industry disrupting mobile app. With their performant V1 just soft launching, you will play a main part in efficient iteration and implementing new and improved features from scratch.

Core duties and responsibilities

• Designing new features quickly while keeping designs clean and simple.
• Prioritizing user experience and feedback above all else in design.
• Obsessing over finding perfect ui/ux solutions.
• Working collaboratively with frontend, backend, and product team as one unit

A self-starter, problem solver, who is driven and ready to tackle industry wide problems and grow a best-in-class application. You will be a core part of building the company culture at an early stage with opportunities to collaborate on all parts of the business.

• 3+ minimum years experienced in design.
• You have experience in B2C mobile applications with a strong basis in Figma.
• Startup experience or Design Agency work.
• Understands the product inside and out not just from the design side.
• Ability to pump out designs quickly when needed.
