SENIOR 3D DESIGNER – EXPERIENTIAL AGENCY

Hybrid – 1 day in the studio

We have partnered with a fantastic brand experience agency who are looking for a Senior 3D Designer to join thier creative team.

As the Senior 3D Designer you will be responsible for translating the overarching event objectives and creative direction into tangible experiences for physical spaces. This can be anything from immersive experiences, exhibition stands, stage sets, experiential activations – anywhere that the live event meets the physical form. Working closely with a multi-disciplined creative team, you will be involved across the lifecycle on a range of highly creative events for some of the world’s biggest brands.

Responsibilites:

• Leading the 3D design process from brief, concept design and development to production
• Undertaking proactive research into the dynamics that inform great 3D design. Keeping abreast of design trends, as well as ongoing research into users, technology and innovation; using these insights to inform design solutions.
• Presenting ideas to internal teams, partners and clients.
• Conceptualising innovative ideas and visuals
• Managing the workload of other 3D designers, including internal and freelancer
• Taking ownership of drawings, visuals, floor plans and construction specifications
• Working with 2D designers and any other discipline to create integrated concepts
• Briefing and managing external suppliers
• Having strong attention to detail for the technical and construction requirements
• Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, architecture and design
• Ensure that project related creative materials are delivered to plan for all projects.
• Seek to continuously improve the quality of creative solutions and support provided by proactively learning from mistakes and feedback.
• Deliver excellent customer service both internally and externally, building effective relationships and ensuring communication is clear and appropriate at all times

Skills required:

• Excellent Senior 3D Designer, with a versatile, conceptual portfolio that shows how you are capable of bringing your creative ideas to life
• Experience in experiential and events, delivering outstanding projects for large scale projects
• You think in 3D, but you also understand how other layers make a 3D space an experience
• You produce amazing brand environments
• You understand how to map an experience across an entire venue campus
• You can communicate your thought process through mood boards and sketches
• You are a master of your 3D package of choice
