Senior UX / Product Designer

Salt are partnered with an integrated communications agency that creates products and services for a range of clients in the digital ecosystem. Our partner are seeking a Senior UX/Product Designer to join their growing design team. This is an independent role that requires a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit, with responsibility for driving outcomes and delivering high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to design breakthrough digital products and services
• Conduct research and analysis, including competitor and out-of-category desk research, management of primary research with customers, and development of customer personas
• Ideate, prototype, and design user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes
• Plan and conduct user testing and research
• Deliver UX recommendations in a clear and concise way
• Support and mentor junior members of the team

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in UX design with knowledge of UX strategy
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Sketch
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for user-centered design and inclusivity

Working Location:

Our partner culture values collaboration both in person and virtually, and so they’re looking for people who share the desire to spend face-to-face time with colleagues and clients.
This role is based 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) in their office in Victoria, London.

On Mondays and Fridays they generally work remotely (with the option to come into the office if you’d like). We would also ask you to come into the office for any in-person client-facing meetings or workshops on Mondays and Fridays.
