Senior Visual Designer – Fintech / Banking – Up to £75,000

They are looking for someone who is passionate about customer experience; the Customer Experience Design team sits in the Analysis and Design team. Together they bring forward all the new initiatives, and have lots of interesting, fun and rewarding work where they need the help of a Senior User Interface Designer.

Your key focus will be to design, prototype and produce delightful user experiences. You’ll work alongside strategists, product managers and developers to challenge the way banks have always been and bring innovation with a human centred process. Tasks will include:

• You will be helping to set the future vision – re-imagining what a bank can be
• Be multi disciplinary; Focus on digital product but experience in creating beautiful illustrations to creating Lottie animations and beautiful interactions
• Contribute to experience design concepts helping to both develop compelling user experiences, and also taking evolving concepts to another level
• Support the UX team in user testing and research process
• Participate in new-business activities, story-telling, presentations and estimates
• Stay up to date with industry and wider design trends
• Representing the CX team in internal pitches and presentations

Your requirements:

• Have 5 years experience in the field of UX/UI or interaction design, creating high-quality design.
• Solid UI design experience – You have significant experience in creating digital products in product led companies (web and native apps). You’ll have an eye for design and be focused on the detail, taking accessibility into account.
• Experience in creating and/or working with design system
• The ability to effectively create and sell a concept
• Understanding of UX principles
• Have the ability to manage time wisely across projects.
• Have experience with responsive Web design and frameworks that incorporate strong grid principles.
• Show proficiency in graphic design, motion graphics, digital art, sensitivity to typography, colour, layout, and general awareness of materials/textures.
• Have experience in working with a cross-functional team or large-scale software development lifecycle.
• Have experience in designing for emerging markets and closely tracking relevant User Interface (UI) trends.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
