UX/UI Designer | eCommerce

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing eCommerce brand in the fashion / beauty space.

Having doubled their turnover last year, they are looking for a talented UX/UI designer to join the team!

You will be supporting the marketing and tech team for on-going activities such as responsive web design (Shopify platform), email design and other on-going activities. As improving user experience is very important to our growth, your (newly created) position will play a huge role in driving our business’ success.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Work closely with our customers and colleagues to understand UX pain points and discover
• new opportunities
• Support the improvement of our web user experience particularly using responsive design
• Design web elements and new journeys to be A/B tested
• Re-design our automated emails (templates and content)
• Support with the design and build of content such as newsletters
• Assist with requirements for UI/UX changes across the multiple sites
• Work very collaboratively with both the marketing and the tech team

Requirements and qualifications:

• Solid experience as digital or UX/UI designer in ecommerce environments
• Proven track-record of delivering great responsive designs
• Great understanding of responsive design technologies
• Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimisation
• Good analytical skills in order to make design decisions based on data
• Strong communicator as this person will be at a crossroad between tech and marketing
• teams and will need to interact constantly with members of both teams
• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator as well as tools such as Sketch
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience designing for Shopify platforms would be a plus
