CONTRACT – VISUAL MERCHANDISING DESIGNER – 6 MONTHS

Asap start for 6 months

Hybrid working, in their London office (2 days in studio)

4 days/week

Day rate: £310/day

IR35 tbd

I’m working with a global beauty brand who are looking for a freelance VM designer to work alongside Senior VM Executive and Marketing, implementing campaign rollouts, briefing promo site designs, skincare bar, fragrance bar updates, and new door installs.

Required skills:

– Experience working in a fast-paced, high pressure, solution driven environment

– Demonstrate ability to multi-tasking with agility

– Experience and knowledge about vendors and materials

– 5+ years of experience of graphic design

– Ability to know how to proof artwork, read Excel sheets and technical drawings

– Experience with visual merchandising, including tester displayers and gondola designs

– 3D visualisation, SketchUp and rendering software

– Adobe Creative Cloud – Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint

– Able to communicate effectively and manage multiple stakeholders

Primary responsibilities:

– Supports 360 campaigns to support overall brand strategy and activation with guidance. Using either globally supplied assets or locally produced assets

– Direct on cropping guidelines, lightbox proofs, and campaign collateral.

– Design promotional sites on SketchUp and produce concept design documents.

– Working closely with Store Designer and Project Managers to ensure all elements are delivered for new door installs

– Create planograms

– Work directly with vendors on the development of VM collateral and promo sites

– Development of all artworks that will be used on the Region

– Create rollout visual installation guides for installers

– Maintain proofs and hi-res of rollout graphics for each region

– Communicate and coordinate with all relevant internal teams, ensuring the timely visibility of project information
