Director of Product

Salt has exclusively partnered with a well-established eCommerce business in Munich, and we are on the lookout for a Director of Product to join the team. Since 2020 and after COVID they have gone from strength to strength and after recent backing from a private equity firm, they are on a mission to double their revenue in the next 3 years.

The stuff you need to know? They recently hired a new CPO and the key goal is to build their eCommerce platform and turn it into one of the best Marketplaces in Europe. This role will be the key individual to spearhead their Customer Retention & Acquisition team where they will have over 20 indirect reports and multiple product squads beneath them.

What do we need?

• Someone with extensive experience in B2C and eCommerce businesses. This is non-negotiable.
• Candidates who have experience in marketplace products
• At least 10+ years in product management
• 3+ years in a product leadership role (minimum “head of” level and above)
• Experience in leading big product teams of 15+ people
• Strong stakeholder management. This role will report into C-suite
• Someone happy to be based in Munich full time. We require someone onsite 3 days a week as this is a director-level role
