We are looking for a Studio Manager to join a friendly team who value a relaxed atmosphere with an experimental approach to creativity, so are looking for a self-motivated teammate who shares our passion for ingenuity. This is an exciting role for someone who wants to grow their career in management or producing. As well as managing the studio you will also get the chance to produce a wide range of outputs such as photoshoots, film, animation, and sculpture. We welcome ideas of how to grow and develop the company, providing a real opportunity for you to make the role you own. You will be happy to multitasking and wearing many hats as this is a studio which never keeps still.

  • Manage projects, building rapport with clients and ensuring they receive a great service
  • Ensure that the studio runs smoothly, including deadlines, diary management, resources etc
  • Manage petty cash expenditure, invoicing & quotes
  • Produce shoots – still & motion
  • Source locations and props for shoot
  • Traffic management
  • Organising travel & logistics for the team
  • Ad-hoc administration tasks
  • PA to Director as needed
  • Answer the phone and manage daily emails
  • Listen to & aid with internal team members questions or concerns
  • Responsible for ensuring the team keep the equipment charged and ready, and the studio tidy and presented well at all times
  • Responsible for project timesheets and financial reports
  • Greet studio visitors
  • Order and maintain stationery, tea, coffee, cleaning products etc
  • Collect and file post
  • Organise Studio social events (birthdays, Christmas, big project completions etc.)
  • Responsible for day-to-day health and safety requirements
  • Book, supervise and manager Freelancers, with sign off from Director, including NDAs
  • Create newsletters & maintain Studio Instagram/twitter presence

Essential

  • Experience in a design studio and/or in management
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent IT skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects
  • Ability to liaise well with other
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • Numeracy skills
