Title: Freelance Mid-weight Service Designer

Client: Global insight and service design agency

Day rate: £260 per day

IR35: Inside IR35 (The client has requested an Umbrella to be used, not Ltd)

Hybrid working: 5 days per week (Unchangeable) – 2 days a week in-house on Tuesday + Wednesday (other 3 days will be remote)

Location: Southwark, London

Brief:
– Big tech experience needed.
– Public sector experience needed.
– Reporting to a Senior Service Designer.
– Strong research skills as well as design.
– Managing end-to-end research projects.
– Deliver and grow their research capabilities.
– Research and design skills who can conduct discovery research.
– Work as part of a team on large projects + running smaller ones.
– B2C + B2B customer insight + service design in the public + private sectors.
– Prototyping + working with developers to build digital apps and/or websites.
– Paper, clickable or code – (e.g. Adobe CC, Figma, Sketch, SolidWorks, Fusion360 etc.)
– Understanding the double diamond methodology + Government Digital Services (GDS) framework.
– Run co-design and co-analysis sessions, develop solutions using different tools, and support in the running of user testing and/or pilots.
