🎩 Title: Freelance UX Director
🎩 Start: Ideally January 2025 but can be the 4th of November
🎩 Length: 1 year (MAT cover)
🎩 Client: Digital agency
🎩 Day rate: £515 per day
🎩 IR35: Inside IR35 (client has requested to use Umbrella, not Limited)
🎩 Hybrid working: 5 days a week: 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday + Thursday) to be in-house + 2 days (Monday + Friday) remote. This cannot be changed.
🎩 Location: Central London
🎩 Brief:
– UX of a product.
– Brand and experience.
– Inspire and motivate the team.
– Show what good looks like.
– 50/50 hands-off and hands-on.
– You are very agile, approachable and nice.
– You are a player too, not just a coach.
– Merge UX and UI into product design.
– Merge UX and UI into product design.
– Working alongside the CDO on pitches.
– Working on up to 6 projects at one time.
– You have led project teams for a product.
– Lead high-profile projects and set direction.
– You will be owning output and defining input.
– Working very closely with cross-discipline teams.
– Be an expert voice in the field of UX and Product Design.
– This role involves mentorship and leadership of more junior designers.
– Looking at how you make digital a worthwhile component of your brand.
– If they can grow and win projects, you can become a permanent member.
– The role also involves producing work like presentations + running workshops.
– Strategic thinking, a highly experienced designer and researcher, and very client-facing.
– Working on multiple clients, but if you have Telco experience, then extra brownie points.
– Leading projects with junior, mid-weight, + seniors across UX, UI, + copywriting (team of 4).
– You won’t be creating wireframes and IA, but you will be embedded in research and CRO testing.
