Location: Sheffield

Work Schedule: In the office (Sadly remote is not an option)

Rate: £150 a day (maximum)

Start: Monday 23rd October

Length: 1 year (maternity cover)

Days a week: 3 days (Part-time)

Are you a freelance UX/ UI Designer, wanting to work for a team developing software, and seeing the projects from concept to completion?

Have you got UX/ UI Design and Sales and Account Management experience wanting to join an award-winning technology company that work across web design, CRM systems, ECommerce, SharePoint development and other digital solutions?

Then this might be the role for you.

What are they looking for:

UX/ UI Design and Presentation
Understanding Client requirements and how they fit into the big picture
Developing compelling user journeys and stories including the theory and rationale behind it
Presenting ideas and solutions verbally and visually to Clients and Prospects
Creating user-friendly, responsive designs across different devices
Supporting the development team in bringing your designs to life
Liaising directly with clients on all things design-related

What you’ll be doing:

Designing for web
Strong understanding of web design principles and user experience and design
Proficient in Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator as design tools
Experience working within CMS platform capabilities (Umbraco would be ideal)
Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
Part time, 3 days per week
1 year contract with possibility to become permanent
Based in Sheffield in the office with plenty of on-site parking and close to public transport and the buzzing hub of Kelham Island.
