BI Reporting Analyst

Salt is excited to once again collaborate with this Financial Services client as they continue their growth plans and are now looking to hire a BI Reporting Analyst to support their team on an ASAP starting, 12 month contract position.

In this role, you will drive business analysis through the delivery of statistical analysis, predictive modelling, data mining and supporting in the implementation of best practices to delivery actionable insights and recommendations to aid in future performance. You will work directly with both internal and external clients to identify their relevant requirements, produce ad-hoc data, reports, develop systems and guide junior members of the team on best practice.

Key Role Requirements:

• Maintain existing and aid in the creation of new BI reports through managing/merging/cleaning multiple data sources through code
• Key stakeholder management networking with wider teams, engineering etc to create solutions to data issues
• Effectively identify trends with issues/opportunities and make actionable recommendations
• Identify areas for experimentation to drive sales growth
• Ability to take ownership of internal projects, managing multiple projects at the same time and ensure alignment with sales priorities and cross-functional team input
• Possess a strong problem-solving mindset, be data-led and analytical in your approach

Key Skills Required:

• Hold a technical skillset (eg. experience with Alteryx) would be advantageous
• Advanced SQL, experience using Databricks, Github, Python, Qlikview is preferred
• Proven experience in Data analytics led roles – within a sales environment is greatly favoured
• Be creative in your approach, with the ability to generate/develop new ideas and solutions
• Previous experience working within a Matrix organisation
• Ability to prioritise work based on impact and deadlines.
• Ability to quickly understand and effectively communicate information to stakeholders to aid decision making through data insights
• Strong presentation and communication skills are essential
• Experience with Salesforce including CRMA experience favoured
• Hold a growth mindset, flexibility in approach and a confident participator within the team and in relevant stakeholder meetings
