As a Data Scientist you’ll be using you technical knowledge, businesses acumen and intelligent soft-skills to design, craft and embed compelling AI-driven business strategy to some of the largest organisations worldwide.

You’ll be mapping solutions for clients, presenting options and then building the models needed to create success for their business. Daily, you’ll be collaborating with a team full of quality, with all the tools at-hand to thrive – being able to utilize your passion for data science & AI to solve a variety of commercial challenges.

On a technical level we are looking for fluency in Python or R, and SQL. Your practical knowledge of core fundamental data science practices should be exemplary and demonstrable. Significant experience of building models is key. Experience with Excel, Alteryx, SQL, PowerBI or Tableau or Qlik will be needed, alongside working knowledge of either Azure, GCP or AWS.

Ideally, you’d have experience applying data science methods to some of the following areas: performance management, demand planning, pricing, financial & risk, supply chain, process optimisation or general artificial intelligence.

As for soft skills, you’ll be acting as a data translator – working with non-technical client stakeholders to communicate the effectiveness of data science & AI solutions. You’ll be expected to use your knowledge of data science to influence thought within client businesses, joining the team on delivering projects of work to enhance their operations.

You’ll also be using these skills to shape the consultancies future capabilities in data science & AI!

– Educated to degree level in a STEM subject (ideally MSc or above)

– Fluency with Python or R, and SQL

– Knowledge of Azure, AWS or GCP

– Strong familiarity with Excel, Alteryx, SQL, and either PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik

– Experience with AI techniques such as NLP or Neural Networks

– Experience with Deep Learning (Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MNxet etc.)

– Soft skills and business acumen required to act as a credible consultant

– The ability to be a data story teller, translator and influencer
