eCommerce Analyst

Greater London Contract / 6 months (ext.) £45.00 - £56.00 per hour

Salt is excited to once again collaborate with one of the worlds Leading Software Powerhouses as they seek to hire an experienced Insights Analyst to join their team on an asap starting, 6 month initial contract. This contract is intended to be extended for a further 6 month duration with proven ROI.

This is the perfect role for a self-starting, strong communicator with a key analytical mindset. In this EMEA market focused role, you will see a lot of wider team collaboration, partnering with the eCommerce and Retention team, Product teams and wider analytical functions to support in bringing insights and a core analytics focus on behalf of the EMEA Sales and Trading team.

Key Role Requirements:

  • Ideally hold previous experience working within the online/ecommerce industry
  • Be willing to drive the Customer Journey goals, ensuring that emerging trends are identified and issues addressed to aid in driving step changes in behaviours and boosting the overall customer experience
  • Hold a keen analytical eye, consistently reviewing industry data and it’s influence on the business
  • You will be involved in every step of the different initiatives and new launches in an ever changing dynamic business
  • You will identify the ideal KPIs to measure in the planning stages to the actual measurement and analysis.
  • Effectively create comprehensive and easy to use resources that can be used by the wider team
  • Work closely with Testing and Optimisation teams and ecommerce teams, providing actionable test ideas and establishing a catalogue of tests and reviews of their effectiveness
  • Develop a clear understanding of marketing effectiveness and the marketing mix model while also providing suggestions for ongoing improvements and modification
  • Consistently develop and manage efficient forecasting techniques

Key Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in SQL and Adobe Analytics is essential
  • Advantageous but not essential to hold experience in Power BI and Tableau
  • Hold strong analytics experience, with a demonstrated history within a fast moving, customer-focused ecommerce environment
  • Have the ability to relay data to those not well-versed in the area – being able to tell the story using data and vice versa
  • Be an expert in building and maintaining strong relationship across a matrix style organisation
