I’m currently hiring for a Senior Data Insights Team Lead to join a global retail & FMCG group which owns brands across health & beauty, perfumes & cosmetics, beverages, food, electronics and wine!

It’s a great chance to move into more of a senior / lead level role, where you will have 2 direct reports – and don’t worry if you’ve not managed before, there will be support to get you up to speed. All they ask is you have the ambition or desire to manage others, as this will be an important factor in the way this role orientates.

This is not a technical role per say, although strong skills with SQL and Tableau are required for analysis, dashboarding and data visualisation, but rather one which will draw on your softer skills around drawing insights from data, and the ability to connect the dots around customer journey, behaviour and CRM.

You will focus on campaign reporting and insights, as well as looking at the entire customer journey, especially the app. We need someone who can integrate digital data into the existing CRM and campaign data already being analysed, in order to provide a more holistic view of the customer across multiple channels.

You will report into the Senior Analytics Manager, who herself has risen through the ranks at over the course of 11 years – proof that their internal promotion and career development pathways are strong!

Experience required:

· Educated to at degree level in a numerate subject: Mathematics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering etc.

· A strong background in customer insight and marketing analytics is essential for this role

· Ability to work with data from multiple sources, including digital, to provide robust solutions and insights

· Excellent skills with SQL, any additional skills with Python and R a big plus!

· Ability to work independently, owning projects from end-to-end

· Passionate about embedding data at the heart of decision making, driving insights led thinking

· Very confident in stakeholder management, identifying problems, scoping solutions and projects and owning delivery
