We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with strong Power BI skills to join our client on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a data-driven environment and can take full ownership of reporting and analytics.
Data Analyst (Power BI) – £300 per day (Inside IR36) – Hybrid working
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards from scratch.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Own all aspects of reporting, ensuring data accuracy, visualisation best practices, and performance optimisation.
- Extract, transform, and analyse data from various sources to support decision-making.
- Continuously improve reporting processes and develop automation where possible.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or BI Developer, with expertise in Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Experience working with SQL databases and other data sources.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective reports and dashboards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Nice to have: Experience in DBT (Data Build Tool) modeling and/or Python coding for data processing.
