Job Title: Global Mobility Business Partner
Location: London / Hybrid 2 days onsite
Rate: £383 per day (inside IR35)
Contract: 8 month contract
Overview
Join a leading British multinational alcoholic beverage company as a Global Mobility Business Partner. This role is critical to delivering the company’s talent and development ambitions, with a strong emphasis on business partnering, operational excellence, and employee experience. The Global Mobility team manages cross-border talent mobility, including international assignments and permanent transfers, and partners with the business to deliver a program that supports business needs.
Role Purpose
As a Global Mobility Business Partner, you will manage international moves within your region, focusing on employee experience and partnering with a broad range of stakeholders on all Global Mobility (GM) matters. You will also support operational delivery, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- High-Quality Service: Deliver exceptional service to internationally mobile employees and align GM activities with future business strategy.
- Assignment/Transfer Management: Oversee all phases of the assignment/transfer life-cycle, including move briefings, documentation, costings, vendor partnerships, systems, and payroll.
- Operational Excellence: Focus on operational efficiency and data accuracy, managing case loads, invoicing, payroll processes, and working with vendors.
- Global Reach: Engage with stakeholders across multiple markets, including talent engagement, reward, tax, payroll, and external vendors.
- Consulting & Advisory: Provide proactive consulting and advisory services across the business on all GM aspects as the subject matter expert.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure GM policies and processes are followed consistently and compliantly, with active management of exceptions.
- Project Involvement: Participate in ad-hoc projects such as operational efficiency, policy review, and technology enhancements.
Requirements
- Experience: 5 years of proven experience in managing global mobility cases across multiple locations and policy types, from assignments to permanent transfers. Experience working in a multinational company too.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of global mobility, including immigration, tax, systems, and payroll.
- Consulting Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with an adaptable and flexible approach.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build strong relationships at all levels and across diverse cultures, with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong analytical capabilities.
- Systems Knowledge: Experience using GM and HR systems.
Team & Locations
- Team: Work within a team of 9 based in Budapest and London, primarily based in London.
- Regional Remit: Manage a regional remit, working across multiple companies.
