Paid Search Manager – Contract

The Paid Search Manager is a temporary role responsible for developing and implementing a paid search strategy for the client with a considerable budget management responsibility. It reports into the Senior Group Media Manager with responsibility for two Senior Paid Search Executives.

The role will be responsible for ensuring that paid search performance reporting is shared with key stakeholders across the group – including finance, category and business owners including retail, autocentres, Client mobile expert vans, McConechy’s and National garages. The Paid Search Manager will be required to work cross-functionally to ensure best-in-class paid search strategy to maximise efficiency and ROI.

Employing strong channel knowledge and experience, with the ability to carry out deep analysis and drive optimisation across our campaigns.

• Lead the Paid Search strategy across the group to maximise efficiency and return on investment.
• Be the subject matter expert within Marketing on Paid Search and take responsibility for performance commentary and weekly reporting.
• Employing knowledge of channel best practices and industry developments to deliver best-in-class campaigns through a test and learn approach.
• Managing multi-million-pound budgets and forecasting based on search demand and historical performance.
• Working closely with our agency partners to ensure flawless campaign execution and timely optimisation is delivered
• Keep abreast of industry developments to maintain expert-level knowledge across all relevant platforms whilst proactively looking for both tactical and strategic optimisation opportunities.
• Developing strong internal relationships and leading communications with these stakeholders to build trust.
