Senior Specialist – Paid Social Specialist

Contract: 12 Months | Rate: £180-£200/day (Inside IR35, via Umbrella)

Hybrid – Central London

We’re working with a leading global media and publishing group who are looking for a talented Senior Specialist in Performance Media Operations to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, supporting a wide range of branded and performance-led campaigns.

You’ll be responsible for building and optimising paid social campaigns, delivering performance insights, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure best-in-class campaign delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and launch paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and brand.com platforms
• Optimise live campaigns to meet and exceed performance KPIs
• Analyse audience data, campaign performance, and industry trends to deliver actionable insights
• Provide in-flight and post-campaign performance reports to internal stakeholders
• Troubleshoot campaign and account issues in a calm, solution-oriented manner
• Support social media strategy development and create effective media plans
• Stay up to date with platform changes and continuously refine campaign approaches
• Assist with global campaign planning and provide support to international teams

Desired Skills & Experience

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Paid Social campaign activation and optimisation
• Strong understanding of self-serve platforms and auction-based buying (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Experience with branded content, commerce content, and digital performance campaigns
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from campaign data
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
• Familiarity with media KPIs, ad tech platforms, and campaign reporting tools
