Content Creator (Contract)

Salt has partnered with a leading, multinational brand looking to hire a Content Creator to join their team on a 6-month contract.

You will be responsible for content creation on fast-turnaround editorial for a range of audiences and formats, including news articles, evergreen content, and landing page copy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attention to detail, ensuring all copy and multimedia storytelling is accurate and publishable, before it is sent to the Head of Web
• Identify rich-media opportunities for video, infographics and imagery
• Confidence to liaise with key stakeholders in both the UK, and around the world.
• An all-rounder, happy to write content quickly, or make updates within the CMS, setting up new landing pages and be part of a vibrant, collaborative team.
• Excellent corporate writing skills are a must, but so is the ability to deliver accurate finished copy at speed
• Contribute to the proofing and uploading of key content
• Ability to tweak web pages as needed

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven similar experience working within a large media or publishing company
• Excellent content creation and technical skills, with a meticulous attention to detail
• Passion for creating accurate copy and proud they are adding to the corporate voice
• Fast writing skills and accustomed to working for multimedia production
• CMS technical experience: respond to business requirements, creating new pages, and making urgent updates across the website.
• Local market support: fulfil local market requests/updates, working closely with stakeholders
• Willingness to learn and develop as part of the team
• 3-5 years’ experience in writing editorial copy
• Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
