Digital Project Manager / Community Manager

My client, a leading membership body, is on the hunt for a Digital Project Manager who may also have a strong background and community management to assist on the delivery on a major piece of transformation for their membership base.

The role will be an initial 3-month contract and is paying up to £250 a day for the right candidate. Candidate’s can be London or Leicester based, but there is an expectation you will be able to travel to Leicester 1-2 days a week.

My client is embarking on an exciting period of change and growth for their organisation with an emphasis on providing more services, engagement and support for our members via digital platforms.

To help them on this journey, they’re looking for an outstanding Digital Project Manager / Online Community Manager to implement and manage a range of online communities for their different member groups. Their goal is to bring our members together, by giving them an online home where they can interact, share ideas, answer questions, and stay connected.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have strong project management experience, particularly in digital implementation
• Have experience of projects focusing on audience engagement and growth
• Be a highly motivated, self-starter, extremely curious about engaging online content and how it can help solve business problems
• Demonstrate strong written, editorial and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record of building relationships with members at all levels
• Have excellent project management skills
• Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities with a proven track record of demonstrating an aptitude to make fact-based recommendations
• Demonstrate significant technical knowledge, including knowledge of the internet landscape
• Have experience working in and communicating with fast-paced, dynamic teams
• Be positive, constructive and solutions-focused
• Be a concise and articulate communicator, who can tailor information to their audience’s needs (regardless of their department/seniority), and a confident presenter
