I’m currently working with a fantastic client who is one of the global leading technology companies. They have a huge presence in the UK and globally and they pride themselves in their reputation and service.

As the overall business demand grows so does this company. As a result I’m looking for a B2B Community Director to come in plan, build, launch and maintain a branded a community across Europe. This candidate must have in depth experience working in a B2B technology company and can demonstrate experience building customer experiences for small to medium sized businesses.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Reaching out to potential new users to let them know about the community -engaging with the audience via appropriate channels / platforms.
  • Developing a programme of community workshops, seminars, webinars, podcasts, networking and industry groups and creating content that will resonate with the audience.
  • Initiating and developing relationships with influential people and companies in the industry.
  • Using data and insights to develop strategies for retention and growth, building long-term relationships with customers.
  • Sharing important insights from the community and working together with market and group stakeholders to deliver the plan.
  • Measuring the success of the community with the right KPIs Core competencies, knowledge and experience.

Must have/be:

  • Previous experience working in a B2B technology organisation
  • 5-10 years sufficient experience building communities for small to medium sized businesses.
  • Self-starter: comfortable with ambiguity; able to identify priority areas of focus – and deliver high-quality and meaningful objectives – with minimal guidance.
  • Extensive prior experience of senior-level leadership in developing technical / industry / customer communities
