eCommerce Trading Manager

My client, a world-famous luxury brand, is on the hunt for an interim Trading Manager on an initial 3-4 month contract for their London team.

Reporting into the eCom Director, you will be responsible for increasing customer conversions and effectively be taking ownership of trading the website(s) across EMEA from devising the overall commercial strategy with the internal teams, to monitoring daily activity.

Your role will be to manage the eCommerce website and work closely with internal teams across Marketing, Merchandising, CRM and Customer Service to ensure that it aligns with the latest product launches and increase sales.

It will also be the responsbility to drive online sales growth through maximising traffic, conversions and ROI via activations and promotions.

Other responsbilities include:

• Update the website to support seasonal campaigns & optimisation of permanent website content
• Lead all website merchandising and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) to maximise online profitability and conversion
• Work with product and merchandising teams to curate an online offering
• Manage online visual merchandising, and optimise customer journey
• Localise, manage & enhance content & home/landing pages liaising with the Online Flagship, Marketing teams (HQ and local markets)

This role will really suit someone from an eCommerce, trading and conversion optimisation background. My client is looking for someone around the £250-350 a day mark depending on experience. The IR35 determination is yet to be completed. Currently the team is working remotely but there may well be some regular office time with the team as the contract progresses. There will also be an opportunity to go temp to perm.
