The Role

The SEO Manager will be executing and managing the website search engine optimisation strategy for the European markets and this is focusing on .com website, both on and off site, across all arms of
the business. The successful candidate will work closely with the EMEA and marketing teams as well as various in-house teams such as content, web development and social media and as such strong stakeholder management skills are required.
Key responsibilities:

• Ensure our websites are optimised for search engines
• Report to Senior SEO Manager in the Content Team
• Deliver cutting-edge marketing analytics projects optimizing across different channels and analytical functions
• Engage with teams internally and externally to on day to day SEO needs
• Drive quality traffic and increase rankings through content marketing, link building, partnership management etc
• Implement integrated search marketing plans and work closely with other specialists and departments within the company to ensure best practice is being rolled out across the board.
• Manage, maintain and increase the online presence of the websites by utilising modern organic on-page search and online marketing techniques
• Analyse and report on search visibility, keyword rankings, traffic patterns and competitor analysis
• Liaise with local Marketing teams to ensure SEO best practice is followed

Key competencies and experience:

• Search Engine experience, SEO knowledge as a pre-requisite and PPC, or other biddable channels is advantageous
• At least 2-3 years’ work experience and a track record of successful SEO programme execution specifically in driving sales
• Able to speak Italian
• Excellent problem solving skills and strong interest in digital marketing
• Experience using SEO campaign management software such as BrightEdge, SEMRush or screamingfrog
• Ability to take full ownership of an SEO role
• Solid experience in web analytics and the ability to use the data to drive performance
• A strong understanding of site functionality
• Ability to work with large data sets with excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Up-to-date understanding of organic search trends, including search engine algorithm changes, the latest tools and technologies
