The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for winning new business customers in your assigned territory across a variety of verticals. This is a revenue generating role where key responsibilities will include:

  • Individually prospect new customers to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Develop an expert knowledge of the cyber security platform to be able to confidently meet with senior level executives and deliver presentations
  • Immerse yourself in the company’s sales processes, quickly getting to grips with known sales methodologies to understand the objectives and needs of customers and then develop solutions through the company’s offerings
  • Research and understand the market including competitor analysis
  • Jump right in and manage the full sales process/cycle from start to finish

About You

This is a rare opportunity for candidates with experience in cyber or technology sales who have the ambition and aptitude to take the next step in their career in a field-sales capacity. We’re looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Experience achieving sales targets in a cyber security or software sales role (cyber ideal)
  • Please apply if you bring good experience in hitting revenue targets of $500k+ and are looking to make the next step in your career to a role with increased responsibility and autonomy
  • Naturally a quick learner, you have a passion for problem solving and constantly improving your commercial knowledge
  • Bonus points if you have experience in the cyber security industry and can recognise the huge growth opportunities within it
  • You are excited by the opportunity to join an ambitious team in a growing start-up
  • Fluency in English required and additional languages are a plus
