Field Solutions Consultant

Salt is currently recruiting for a Field Solutions Consultant.

The Solutions Consultant / Senior who will work with customers to implement new solutions and ensure they achieve maximum benefit and satisfaction with their choice of client service. This requires business analysis and customer liaison skills together with technical ability and understanding of field service processes.

With training in specified technology, including flagship products, the Senior Solution Consultant role responsibilities include:
* Liaise with clients to analyse business processes, clarify requirements and determine the scope of required solution.
* Analyse data to identify problem areas and propose system configuration or process changes to overcome them.
* Present overall solution designs and workshops to a technical and non-technical audience.
* Deliver all consultancy work in a timely manner, to scope and within budget, while keeping internal and external parties updated with progress.
* Meet and exceed customer expectations with your business knowledge, skills and professionalism.

* Provide support and technical guidance during the pre-sales phases that could include:
o Collaboration in customer-facing meetings, delivering demonstrations, etc.
o Conducting benchmark and “What-If” scenario testing with customer data.
o Deploy and manage system trials for potential clients.
This role is home working and therefore your location is flexible provided you have good travel connections. Our client has office hubs near Reading and Warrington and there is a high degree of interaction with colleagues with meet up sessions/workshops. Product training will be provided in the UK and Germany.

EXPERIENCE, EXPERTISE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
* Proven business analysis and software implementation skills with minimum 4 years experience, ideally to include field service management or scheduling/dispatch/mobile related solutions, working for either a vendor or a field service organisation.
* Strong problem-solving ability, analytical skills and effective time management are required.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, able to articulate concisely with enthusiasm and clarity.
* Quickly establishes credibility, trust and rapport with customers and colleagues at all levels.
* Takes personal responsibility, with a flexible “can do, will do, whatever it takes” attitude.
* Degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in IT, a mathematical or science subject.
* Must be an existing resident in the UK with a “Right to work” and hold a full valid driving licence and passport

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
* Competent with SQL and relational databases
* Good understanding of Web Services
* Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
