Are you a dynamic and results-driven sales professional with a passion for technology and the travel / tourism industry? A fast-growing SaaS startup revolutionising the way travel and tourism companies operate is seeking an exceptional VP Sales to recruit and lead a sales team and drive revenue growth.

As the first Sales hire, you should be comfortable leading from the front and closing deals whilst you build your GTM and recruit your team.

As the VP Sales, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and executing the sales strategy, focusing on selling cutting-edge technology solutions to the travel and tourism sector. You will have the opportunity to build and manage a small but high-performing sales team, guiding them towards achieving ambitious targets and expanding the customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the travel and tourism sector, maximising revenue opportunities.
  • Lead the sales team, providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching to drive individual and team performance.
  • Identify key target accounts and build strong relationships with decision-makers, understanding their pain points and offering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to generate high-quality leads and create effective sales campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of their products and services, as well as market trends and competitors, to drive successful sales conversations and value propositions.
  • Forecast and track sales metrics, consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, networking at relevant events, and continuously expanding your knowledge to drive sales excellence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the SaaS Ticketing industry, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in the travel and tourism sector or selling to similar industries would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate at all levels of an organisation.
  • Strategic mindset, able to analyse market trends and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with a drive for success.
