Level 3 Mac Support Desktop Engineer (Jamf 300, Mac) – Finance – London/hybrid
Day rate: £350 – £450 (inside IR35)
Duration: 12 months

My client is looking for a level 3 Mac Desktop Engineer to join on a freelance basis. This is a London based hybrid role 2 – 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for Mac and Windows desktop environments.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on MAC and Windows devices.
* Administer and manage JAMF for Mac device management.
* Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
* Assist with the deployment and configuration of software and updates.
* Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless support and service delivery.
* Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and solutions.
* Provide training and support to end-users on Mac and Windows systems.
* Act as third line of support for escalated technical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Mac Support Desktop Engineer or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of Mac OS and Windows operating systems.
* Experience with Jamf administration and management.
* Jamf 300 certification preferred. Certification will need to be obtained within the first 3 months.
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional, JAMF Certified).
